We are truly grateful that you have come with a humble heart, acknowledging your need for God's grace and mercy. It's important to remember that our deserving has nothing to do with the forgiveness of God. But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 WEB. We are all sinners and undeserving but God demonstrates His own love for us in sending His only Son to die for us.
Let's not forget Paul the Apostle. Paul was a blasphemer and a persecutor, and a violent aggressor. Yet he obtained mercy, because he did it ignorantly in unbelief and he was transformed to be a great Apostle that spread Christianity throughout the known world. He said the saying is sure and worthy of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom he is chief. 1 Timothy 1:13,15 WEB.
This is why we proclaim that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:6 WEB.
So let us pray together for your restoration.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your grace and mercy to be poured out on this dear soul and their life. We pray that You restore their faith and make them whole again, just as you did for so many in the Bible. We know that You are able to present them faultless before Your throne with exceeding joy. Jude 1:24 WEB. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
