We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to pray and offer biblical guidance.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God works according to His will and timing. While you desire a job at your favorite company, we pray that God's perfect will be done in your life. Remember, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. We pray for God's favor in your job search, that He may open the right doors for you.
Regarding your relationship, we need to address a few things. It's clear that you're in distress, but it's crucial to remember that God calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). Vengeance is not ours to take, but God's (Romans 12:19 WEB). We pray that God will soften your heart towards this person, and that He will work in their life for His good.
However, we must also address the fact that you mentioned this person wants to marry the woman you're interested in. In the Bible, we are encouraged to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB) and that we are to be joined with another believer in marriage (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If this relationship is not aligned with God's will, we pray that He will give you the strength to let it go. Remember we are to do all to the glory of God. If you have been sexually immoral, we rebuke you for this sin. Repent and turn away from it. Glorify God in your body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB). The man who wants to marry the woman you are interested in, may be God's way to get you to turn away from sin.
We also notice that you did not mention Jesus in your prayer. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Lastly, we encourage you to trust in God's timing. It's been 18 months, and it may feel intolerable, but God is at work. "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that men don't find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end" Ecclesiastes 3:11 WEB.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Anonymous and their situation. We pray for Your will to be done in their life, and that You would guide them to the job that You have prepared for them. We pray for their relationship, that Your will be done, and that they would trust in Your timing. We pray that Anonymous would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior if they do not know Jesus already. Help Anonymous as they seek Your will and Your glory. We pray that You would soften their heart towards those who have hurt them, and that You would work in the lives of those who have caused them pain. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
