We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you, your cousin, and your family are facing regarding mental health and financial problems. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, and He wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
In addressing mental health, we want to encourage you with the words of God through the prophet Isaiah: "But those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). God is our source of strength and renewal, and He can help you overcome any mental health challenges you are facing. Remember, the mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace. You have the mind controlled by the Spirit if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. (Romans 8:6, 9 WEB)
Regarding financial problems, we want to remind you of Jesus' words: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB). God is our provider, and He knows our needs. Seek Him first, and trust that He will take care of your financial needs.
We also want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. "In whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." (Ephesians 3:12 WEB). "who, existing in the form of God, didn't consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:6-11 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister and their family, including their cousin. Lord, they are facing mental health and financial problems, and we ask for Your divine intervention.
Father, we pray for healing and restoration of their mental health. Renew their strength and help them soar like eagles. Help them to fix their minds on You and be transformed by the renewing of their minds. (Romans 12:2 WEB) Guide them through Your word and Your Spirit. Father you have said that the Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB) Give them peace.
We also pray for a breakthrough in their financial situation. Provide for their needs, Lord, and help them to be good stewards of the resources You have given them. Guide them to seek You first, trusting that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 WEB)
Lord, we also pray for their cousin, that You would intervene in their life and bring healing, provision, and salvation if they do not already know You.
Father, we ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who sits at your right hand and ever lives to make intercession for us. (Hebrews 7:25 WEB) Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will help you overcome these challenges. Trust in Him, and He will see you through and give you a future and a hope. Stay encouraged.
