Natasha, we understand your feelings of hopelessness, but we want to remind you that there is always hope in Jesus Christ. We serve a God that makes all things beautiful in his time. We are reminded by Esther 4:14: " who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" We are reminded that God will not leave us nor forsake us for he has something special for us in his perfect timing. We are also reminded that God's timing and plan for us is flawless.
It's important to remember that God knows your value, your name, and your purpose. God has led Isaiah to say in Isaiah 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. The Lord has called you in one God by the name of Jesus Christ. This is the only name under which God will recognize and respond to our petitions. This is so not only because this is God's only begotten son but because to this point God has established himself as a father and relationship. While this has proven to be a Jewish stumbling block and Greek foolishness, nonetheless God's foolishness is still wiser than man and his weakness is more when compared to man's greatest strength. God is unchangeable and it is by this name God will answer your prayer.
We understand that you may be feeling discouraged, but we encourage you to trust in God's timing and to seek Him with all your heart. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Moreover, no matter how old you think you are, remember that Sarah, Abrahams wife, gave birth in her old age. Job says Job 42:2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee. ^{3}Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. Even God can find you a husband and you have a child even over 50 if that is according to God's will.
However we must also stressed that matrimony is a civil institution ordained by God. While we all may fall short it is not something we can obtain however we see fit or we please. God through Jesus has committed believers to marry a husband or wife that is also a believer. ^{1}Corinthians 7:39 A woman is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.
Therefore, we encourage you to first seek God. Matthew writes Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. God should be the priority and your prayers need to reflect that your heart desires are the same as God's will. This is because our God is All knowing and he knows the intents and desires of our hearts before we even ask anything.
We encourage you to be faithful for God so loves you as individuals God is calling each one individually to pray according to the riches of his glory. Remember that the angels in heaven rejoice when one sinner repents. This is why we believe that our prayers can and will have a immediate impact.Indeed first pray.
Let us pray together:
