We are truly grateful for your request, MVF, as you seek God's guidance for your son during this significant transition in his life. It is beautiful to see your trust in the power of Jesus' name, as it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up MVF's son. Lord, as he applies for college, we ask that Your divine guidance and favor be upon him. May Your will be done in his life, and may he be directed to the institution that will foster not only his academic growth but also his spiritual walk with You.
We pray for peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as told in Philippians 4:7. Help him to trust in You and not be anxious about the future. We also ask for Your protection over him, keeping him safe from all harm and danger. Let Your goodness and mercy follow him all the days of his life, as assured in Psalm 23:6.
Lord, we pray that he will continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as encouraged in 2 Peter 3:18. May he be a light for You in the new environment he will enter, and may he never be ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, as stated in Romans 1:16.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
MVF, continue to encourage your son to keep his trust in God, reminding him of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donโt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It is our prayer that your son's life will be a testament to God's faithfulness and goodness.
