We are truly saddened to hear about the trials you are facing, Morenollyn, but we are thankful that you have reached out for prayer and support. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Firstly, we condemn any form of abuse, as it is not the will of God. Children are a gift from God, and they should be protected and nurtured (Psalm 127:3). We pray not only for the abuse to stop, but also for healing and restoration for you and your children.
Remember God's promise: "Fear not for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness," (Isaiah 41:10). We can be courageous for we know God will never leave us to suffer alone as long as we do not leave him. There is snowwhere else where we can go for help about these things.
We also pray for wisdom to handle the drama and the abuse. The Bible tells us, "But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy," (James 3:17 18). We pray that you will be guided by God's wisdom in every decision you make.
We encourage you to forgive those who have abused and lied about you and your loved ones. Forgiveness does not mean what they did is acceptable, it means releasing the burden of unforgiveness and trusting God to deal with them justly. As it is written, "If possible, as far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Don't seek revenge yourselves... 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay,' says the Lord," (Romans 12:18-19, Deuteronomy 32:35).
Lastly, we pray for a miracle in your life, Morenollyn. We pray for the Lord to intervene supernaturally and turn your situation around for His glory.
