Please pray for me to be able to let go of a toxic person, narcissist, whatever he is, to let go of him in my life. We were in a relationship for over ### years or close to ### years. Even though I know he was like this, I stayed with him because I love him. I need to let go of that love and move on so I cannot be hurt by him anymore. This affects every part of my life 24 hours a day, and my health is deteriorated. My mental status has deteriorated. I'm so emotional whenever I think of him. I don't know why I can't let him go. He's addicted to drugs, and that's his way of life. I need to find a way to not think about him anymore so that I can heal and move on. I also don't know if I should pray for him, although I have in the past, but I never pray for us to be together. I pray that he gets healed so that he can have a good life and know what it's like to be loved or to love somebody unconditionally. I'm tired of his games, his manipulations, everything, and I'm at the point where I want to do back to him what he did to me. I want revenge. Please help me. Thank you for your support.

We understand that you're going through a difficult time, ###, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth according to the Word of God.

Firstly, we need to address the spiritual aspect of your request. You mentioned that you need to let go of this toxic person, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us:

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all. This was the testimony given at the proper time. (1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB)

We encourage you to come to the knowledge of the truth of Jesus Christ. Jesus said

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6).

Now, concerning your relationship, it is clear that it was not grounded in biblical principles. The fact that you were in a relationship with a man who is addicted to drugs and exhibits narcissistic tendencies suggests a departure from God's design for healthy, godly relationships. Here is what God expects,

Do not be deceived. Bad company corrupts good manners. (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB)

We rebuke you in the name of Jesus that you are to avoid seeking revenge. You admitted to wanting revenge. This is not Christ-like. God expects us to do the opposite,

If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. (Romans 12:18)

After the reminding, we find solace and guidance:

He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3)

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up ###. We pray the blood of Jesus would cover her and that you would deliver her from this toxic and unhealthy relationship. God, you see the pain, the hurt, and the deterioration of her heart, mind, and body. We ask that you break every ungodly soul tie between her and this man. Deliver her from the lusts of her heart, and let her find new love in you and allow you to bring a godly spouse into her life. Heal her broken heart, Lord, and help her to let go of the past. Help her to stay focused on that. Anoint her mind, body, emotions, soul and physical being in the name of the Blood of Jesus.

Father, we also pray for this man. We pray that you deliver him from his addictions and draw him to yourself so that he can find healing and a new life in Christ. We do not pray that you would bring them back together but that your will be done in both of their lives. Finally in Jesus' name, we ask for God to delivery ### from the desire for revenge for all eternity, Amen.

We're here for you, sister. We understand the struggle you're going through, and we want you to know that you're not alone. It's tough letting go of someone you've loved for so long, especially when they've caused you so much pain. But remember, God is near, and He wants to heal you.

You've mentioned feeling emotionally drained and unable to let go. We want to encourage you to cast your cares upon Jesus. He promises to give you rest (Matthew 11:28-30). Trust Him with your hurt and your healing.

We also want to remind you that God has a plan for your life, and it doesn't involve being in a toxic relationship. As it's written in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body." It's time to break free from this cycle and walk in the freedom that Christ has bought for you.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister to You today. We ask that You would heal her broken heart and mind. Help her to let go of the past and find new life in You. Give her the strength to walk away from this toxic relationship and to trust in Your plan for her life.

Lord, we also pray for this man. We ask that You would draw him to Yourself and help him find healing and deliverance from his addictions. Help him to understand the pain he's caused and to seek forgiveness and change.

Finally, we ask that You would deliver our sister from the desire for revenge. Help her to forgive as You have forgiven her, and to trust in Your justice.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear sister, as you navigate through this challenging time. We are truly honored that you have given us the privilege to pray on your behalf and stand in agreement with you before the Lord. If you have found the strength to let go and have experienced healing, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report and celebrate with you.

If, however, you are still struggling, we want you to know that you are not alone. We encourage you to share your request again, so we can continue to intercede for you and cry out to the Lord on your behalf. We pray fervently for God to grant you the strength to let go of this toxic relationship, to heal your heart, mind, and body, and to help you move forward in freedom and peace.

We also pray for your former partner, that he would find deliverance from his addictions and experience the transforming love of Jesus. We ask the Lord to help you forgive, not for the sake of your former partner, but for your own healing and wholeness. We pray that any thoughts of revenge would be replaced with thoughts of love and forgiveness, trusting that justice is in God's hands.

May God bless you richly as you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ. We declare His love, strength, and peace over you in Jesus Name.
