We join you in lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father, seeking His will and guidance in your lives. We appreciate that you've included that this request is in Jesus' name, as it is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation.
Firstly, we commend you for your desire to seek clarity, healing, and peace, both for you and the one you're praying for. It's important to remember that God's Word says, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
We must also address that your prayer seems to imply a relationship that may not be aligned with biblical principles. It's crucial to ensure that this relationship is one that honors God and is in line with His Word. If this is a romantic relationship, we should be praying for a godly spouse and a marriage that honors God, as marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Remember, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? And what communion has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB
As we all already know we are to be doing this in Jesus' name. In this context, it is important to remember the words of Jesus, Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full. John 16:23-24 WEB
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this situation to You. We pray for clarity, healing, and peace for both individuals. We ask that Your will be done, and that You guide them in the path of righteousness. Help them to release all worries, anxious thoughts, manipulation, obsession, and desperation into Your hands, and fill them with patience, trust, and inner peace. If it is in Your divine plan, may understanding and truth flow between them in a way that aligns with love and peace. We ask for your wisdom on this relationship to clarify if it is indeed your will for a marriage to honor you.
We pray that You would reveal any areas in their lives that may not be aligned with Your Word, and give them the strength and grace to walk in Your ways. We ask for boldness to confront anything that is ungodly and point it out to them in your word when necessary. We ask that You would guide them in their relationships, and give them a desire for a godly spouse and a marriage that honors You, in Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage both of you to continue seeking God's will in your lives, and to trust in His perfect timing. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths, Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB.
We also encourage you to be in fellowship with other believers, to study God's Word, and to pray without ceasing. It is our prayer that God would work in your lives, and that you would come to know Him more deeply and intimately, as you also ask, seek, and knock.
