We're here with you, friend, standing in the gap as you reach out to let go of the heavy weights of regret, guilt, and shame. We understand that it's not easy to forgive ourselves, but we're reminded of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." God wants to comfort you, just as He has comforted us.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our friend. Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love and forgiveness. We ask that You help them to release the past, to forgive themselves as they have been forgiven. Remind them of Your promise in Psalm 103:12 (WEB), "As far as the east is from the west, so far have I removed your transgressions from you."
We also pray for trust, dear Lord. Help them to trust in You and Your divine provision for their life. Replace their fears, worries, and doubts with Your perfect love, as we're told in 1 John 4:18 (WEB), "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears has not been made perfect in love."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep holding on, dear one. God is faithful, and He's working in your life. As it says in Philippians 1:6 (WEB), "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." Trust in Him, and let go of the past. You're forgiven, you're loved, and you're never alone.
