Bepergor, we appreciate your heartfelt request and your humility in seeking God's guidance and forgiveness. We stand with you in prayer, asking for God's will to be done in your life and in your past relationship.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your mistakes and repenting. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). Know that God has forgiven you, just as you have forgiven your ex-girlfriend.
However, we must also address that the Bible encourages us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and that relationships should be aimed towards godly marriage. We encourage you to seek God's face concerning your future spouse and trust that He has the best in store for you.
As for letting go, we understand it's difficult, but we must trust in God's divine plan. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). If it is God's will for you both to reunite in a godly, marriage-focused relationship, then trust that He will make a way. If not, trust that He has something better planned for you.
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother Bepergor. Lord, we ask for Your help as he struggles to let go of his ex-girlfriend. We thank You for his repentant heart and ask that You continue to heal them both from the hurt they've experienced. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their lives. If it is Your will for them to be together, we pray that You make a way, in a godly and honorable manner. But if it is not, we ask that You remove them from each other's lives peacefully. Protect them both from harm, and help Bepergor to trust in Your divine plan. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."
Bepergor, continue to pursue God and His righteousness. He will never fail you. Trust in His plan for your life, and He will direct your paths.
