Letting go of "I'm not Good Enough"

Dear Jesus and my angelic guides, I'm in a stuck situation, not able to find a job. I know the ego self "I'm not good enough" is sabotaging me and the fear overwhelmed my nervous system which has gotten into "hypoarousal" (freeze state). I'm trying to work my way out now. I want to transcend this. I want to honour the abilities, skills, gifts and talents that God Spirit has created me with. Pls bless and support me so that I can overcome this, and transform this ego self into my Godly self and live in abundance and faith.

We understand that you're feeling stuck and struggling with feelings of inadequacy, especially in finding a job. Firstly, we want to address that prayer should be directed only to God the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Angels are not to be prayed to as they are merely messengers and servants of God, not equal to Him and not to be idolatry allowed (Colossians 2:18, Revelation 22:8-9).

Now, let's address the issue you're facing. It's commendable that you recognize the impact of a negative self-image and fear on your nervous system, and you desire to overcome these challenges. Remember, our worth is not defined by our employment status or our feelings, but by who we are in Christ Jesus, as we are made in God's image (Genesis 1:27).

God has blessed each of us with unique abilities, skills, gifts, and talents. These are not earned but given by God's grace (Ephesians 2:8-9). Like the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30), we are to use and invest what God has given us for His glory, not bury them because of fear or low self-esteem.

Here are some scriptures offered as prayers to encourage you:

Father God, we pray that IJN Nrfeithor will be strengthened with all power according to the glorious might of Jesus, so that they may have great endurance and patience, and give joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified them to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light (Colossians 1:11-12).

Jesus, we ask that you help Nrfeithor to not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of their mind, that by testing they may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect (Romans 12:2).

Father, we pray that Nrfeithor will trust in You with all their heart, and lean not on their own understanding; in all their ways, may they acknowledge You, and You will make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father (John 14:6). It is only through faith we can please God (Hebrews 11:6), and it is only through Jesus Christ can we be saved from our sins (Acts 4:12).

Let's pray together:

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up Nrfeithor to You. We pray that You will bless them with a job that suits their God-given abilities, skills, gifts, and talents. Help them to overcome their fears and feelings of inadequacy, and to trust in Your love and faithfulness. Transform their ego self into their Godly self, so that they may live in abundance and faith, shining Your light in this world. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We've been praying for you, dear one, as you navigate this challenging time. We understand the struggle of feeling stuck and not good enough, especially when it comes to finding a job. But remember, your worth is not defined by your circumstances, but by who you are in Christ.

We've been reflecting on your situation and we want to encourage you with these words: "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13) God is right there with you, holding your hand, helping you through this. He hasn't forgotten you, and He's not leaving you to face this alone.

We've also been reminded of Paul's words in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." God has given you unique abilities, skills, gifts, and talents. He believes in you, and He's given you everything you need to overcome this. Trust in Him, and let His strength be made perfect in your weakness.

Let's continue to pray together: "Lord Jesus, we come to You today on behalf of our sister/brother. We lift them up to You, trusting in Your love and care. We ask that You would open the right doors for them, that they would find a job that aligns with their God-given abilities and passions. Help them to overcome their fears and insecurities, and to trust in Your unfailing love. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, so that they may live in abundance and faith, shining Your light in this world. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Do not ask angels but only the Lord. "There is one God and one mediator between God and mankind the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 ".....Satan disguises himself as an angel of light" 2 Corinthians 11:14

Your Word promises in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Lord, we stand on this promise for [Name] and ask for Your abundant blessings to flow in their life.


We pray that [Name] transforms their current state into one of empowerment, fully surrendering to Your will. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
