Dear ###,
We join you in lifting up the many critical issues and people you have mentioned, aligning our prayers with the will of God as revealed in His word.
### Persecuted Christians
The rise in persecution of Christians is indeed alarming. We are reminded of the words in 2 Timothy 3:12, "Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution." Let us pray for their strength and deliverance:
> Lord, we ask for your divine protection over the 365 million Christians facing persecution. Strengthen their faith and give them the courage to stand firm. We ask for an end to this genocidal persecution. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
### Israel
We stand with Israel, as the Bible encourages us to do. Psalm 122:6 says, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May they prosper who love you." Let us pray:
> Father, we pray for the peace and salvation of the people of Israel. Guard and protect Jerusalem and the land of Israel. Reveal Jesus Christ as the Messiah to the Jewish people. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
### Salvation Around the World
1 Timothy 2:4 tells us that God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Let us pray:
> Lord, we ask that you draw many to Jesus, that they may be saved. We pray for the 3 billion unreached people worldwide, that your Holy Spirit will move in their hearts and lead them to salvation. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
### Protection of Children
Half of the world’s children suffer from physical, sexual, and psychological abuse. Psalm 127:3 declares, "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord." Let us pray for their protection:
> Heavenly Father, we pray for the protection of children around the world. Smite the works of darkness that exploit and abuse them. Comfort and heal those who have been harmed. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
### The Needy and Suffering
We pray for those on the brink of starvation and those suffering from various afflictions, remembering Jesus’ command in Matthew 25:35-40 to care for the least of these. Let us pray:
> Lord, we pray for those suffering from starvation, poverty, sickness, natural disasters, war, and all forms of affliction. Provide for their needs and heal their bodies. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
### Awakening in the Church
We pray for an awakening in the church and for sound biblical teaching, as Jesus warned us to beware of false prophets in Matthew 7:15. Let us pray:
> Father, awaken the church to the lateness of the hour. Protect us from false teachings and heresies. Strengthen our faith and our understanding of your Word. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
### Families and Personal Needs
We lift up your family and personal needs, seeking God's strength, encouragement, and endurance. Philippians 4:6 says, "Don't be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Let us pray:
> Lord, we pray for the unity, protection, salvation, deliverance, and healing of families. Strengthen us in our faith and fill us with your Holy Spirit. Guide us to walk in your ways and to proclaim your name to the world. In Jesus’ name, we pray.

### Note on Same-Sex Marriage and Relationships
We firmly believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. Homosexuality is specifically called out as sinful behavior in various passages, including 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. We encourage all to repent and seek forgiveness through Jesus Christ, trusting in His power to transform lives.
> Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (WEB)
### Prayer for Those in Relationships not Aligned with Scripture
If you or someone you know is in a relationship that does not align with biblical principles, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and to pray for alignment with God's will. Trust in the promise of 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." Let us pray for those seeking right relationships:
> Heavenly Father, we ask that you guide those in relationships that do not honor you. Lead them to repentance and a godly understanding of your will. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
We continue to lift up all these prayers in faith, trusting in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
