Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and humility, lifting up these many requests and praises to Your throne of grace. Your Word assures us that You hear our prayers and are close to the brokenhearted. We thank You for Your faithfulness and mercy.
Lord, we pray for persecuted Christians around the world. Your Word says in 2 Timothy 3:12, "Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution." We ask for Your protection, strength, and comfort for our brothers and sisters facing unimaginable trials. May they feel Your presence and know that they are not alone.
We lift up Israel and pray for peace and salvation for its people. As Your Word instructs us in Psalm 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May they prosper who love you.'" We ask that You bless Israel and Jerusalem and bring Your peace to this land.
Father, we pray for the salvation of many around the world, especially the unreached. Your desire is that "all people be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:4). Draw many to Jesus, and let Your light shine in the darkest places.
We ask for Your protection over children around the world who suffer from physical, sexual, and psychological abuse. Psalm 82:3 says, "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed." Intervene, Lord, and smite the works of darkness. Grant wisdom and discernment to those in positions to help.
Lord, we lift up those on the brink of starvation and those suffering from poverty, sickness, natural and manmade disasters, and conflicts. Your Word in Psalm 146:7-9 speaks of Your care for the oppressed, the hungry, and the afflicted. Provide for their needs, and let Your love and mercy be evident.
We pray for an awakening in the church universal, for sound biblical teaching, and protection from falling away. Ephesians 5:14 says, "Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light." Stir our hearts, Lord, and let Your truth prevail.
We ask for protection, salvation, deliverance, healing, and unity in families. Reconcile broken relationships and bring peace. As it says in Colossians 3:14, "Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."
Lord, we pray for strength, encouragement, and endurance for all Christians around the world. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, help us shun sin, walk in Your ways, and proclaim Jesus to the world. Ephesians 6:10 reminds us to "be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might."
We lift up specific individuals and families mentioned, asking for Your intervention, healing, and comfort. You know each need, and we trust in Your perfect will. Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart and saves such as have a contrite spirit."
Father, we also ask for Your guidance, wisdom, and protection in all areas of our lives. Psalm 32:8 promises, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye."
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the many ways You have already answered. We continue to place our trust in You, knowing that You are faithful and just. We plead the blood of Jesus over every situation and ask for a wall of Holy Spirit fire around us.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
