Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up these urgent and heartfelt requests. Your Word assures us that "The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promises as we intercede for these needs.
Lord, we pray for persecuted Christians around the world, especially those facing genocidal levels of persecution. Your Word tells us, "Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body" (Hebrews 13:3). Strengthen and protect our brothers and sisters in Christ. Give them courage and peace, and may their faith shine brightly as a testament to Your love.
We lift up Israel and pray for peace and salvation for its people. As Your Word says, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May they prosper who love you'" (Psalm 122:6). Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over Israel and for the hearts of its people to turn to You.
For the salvation of many around the world, we stand on Your promise in 1 Timothy 2:4 that You "desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." Draw many to Jesus, Lord. Let the Gospel spread like wildfire, reaching the unreached and bringing hope to the hopeless.
We pray for the protection of children worldwide. Your Word says, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God" (Mark 10:14). Shield them from abuse, exploitation, and harm. Provide for their needs and surround them with Your love and care.
Lord, we intercede for those on the brink of starvation, especially in Yemen, Afghanistan, and Somalia. Your Word declares, "He who is generous will be blessed, for he gives some of his food to the poor" (Proverbs 22:9). Provide for these precious souls, Lord, and move the hearts of those who can help to act with compassion and generosity.
We ask for an awakening in the Church universal regarding the lateness of the hour and the second coming of Christ. Your Word warns us, "Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming" (1 Thessalonians 5:2). Help us to be vigilant, discerning, and steadfast in sound biblical teaching.
For families, we pray for protection, salvation, deliverance, healing, and unity. Your Word says, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household" (Acts 16:31). Reconcile broken relationships and bring peace and love into homes.
We lift up all Christians around the world, asking for strength, encouragement, and endurance. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, help us shun sin, walk in Your ways, and boldly proclaim Jesus to the world. Your Word tells us, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses" (John 14:26).
We also bring before You the specific needs mentioned: comfort for ###’s family, salvation for ###, healing for ### and ###, and praise for ###’s recovery. We ask for deliverance for ### and healing for ### and ###. Lord, intervene in ###’s struggles, and bless ###, ###, ###, ###, and their families.
Lord, we thank You for the miracles and answered prayers already witnessed. Continue to work mightily in each situation, providing comfort, healing, protection, and provision. We claim Your promises in Psalm 50:15, "Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me."
Father, we trust in Your sovereign power and love. We lay all these requests at Your feet, knowing that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
