Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our hearts in prayer for the many urgent needs around the world. Lord, we pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ, who face unimaginable trials and suffering. Your Word tells us in Matthew 5:10, "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." We ask for Your divine protection, strength, and comfort for them, and that their faith remains steadfast.
We also pray for the peace and salvation of Israel. Lord, Your Word in Psalm 122:6 instructs us to "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May those who love you be secure.'" We ask that You bring peace to this land and draw its people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Protect Israel from threats and fulfill Your prophetic promises.
Father, we lift up the salvation of many around the world, including the ### unreached. As 1 Timothy 2:4 says, You "want all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth." Draw hearts to Jesus, and let Your gospel spread to the ends of the earth.
We pray for the protection of children worldwide, who suffer from abuse, exploitation, and neglect. Lord, Your Word in Psalm 82:3-4 calls us to "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked." Intervene, Lord, and protect these innocent lives. Bring justice and healing to those who have been harmed.
We also pray for those on the brink of starvation, in places like ###, ###, and ###. Provide for their needs, Lord, and bring relief to those suffering from poverty, sickness, and disasters. Your Word in Psalm 146:7-9 reminds us that You "uphold the cause of the oppressed and give food to the hungry." Be their provider and sustainer.
Lord, awaken Your church to the lateness of the hour and the urgency of Your second coming. Grant us sound biblical teaching and protect us from falling away. As Hebrews 10:25 encourages us, "not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
We pray for protection, salvation, deliverance, and healing for all in need. Smite the works of darkness in our lives and grant us wisdom and discernment. Provide shelter, protection, and supernatural provision for the vulnerable, and shield us from the toxins and dangers in this world.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
