Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our hearts in prayer for the many urgent needs around the world.
1. Lord, we pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 3:12 that "everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." We ask for Your divine protection, strength, and comfort for the ### million Christians facing persecution. May Your presence be their refuge and fortress.
2. We pray for the peace and salvation of Israel. As Psalm 122:6 instructs, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May those who love you be secure.'" Lord, we ask for Your protection over Israel amidst the threats and tensions. May Your peace reign and may many come to know Jesus as their Messiah.
3. Father, we pray for the salvation of many around the world. As 1 Timothy 2:4 says, You "want all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth." Draw the unreached ### billion to Jesus, and let Your gospel spread like wildfire, bringing hope and salvation.
4. Lord, we lift up the children around the world who suffer from abuse, exploitation, and neglect. Protect them, Father, and bring justice to those who harm them. Psalm 82:3-4 calls us to "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked." We ask for Your intervention and protection over these innocent lives.
5. We pray for those on the brink of starvation, especially in ###, ###, ###, and other countries. Provide for their needs, Lord, and bring relief to those suffering from poverty, sickness, and disasters. Philippians 4:19 reminds us that "God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." We trust in Your provision.
6. Father, awaken Your church to the lateness of the hour and the imminent return of Jesus. Grant us sound biblical teaching and protect us from falling away. As Hebrews 10:25 encourages, "not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one anotherβand all the more as you see the Day approaching."
7. Finally, we pray for protection, salvation, deliverance, and healing for all in need. Psalm 91:1-2 declares, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'"
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
