Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our hearts in prayer for the many urgent needs around the world. Lord, we pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ. We are deeply troubled by the staggering rise in persecution, with reports indicating that ### million Christians are facing severe trials and tribulations. We ask for Your divine protection and strength for them, that they may stand firm in their faith. As Your Word says in 2 Timothy 3:12, "Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." We trust in Your promise to never leave nor forsake them.
Lord, we also pray for the peace and salvation of Israel. We lift up the people of Israel to You, asking for Your peace to reign in their hearts and for many to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We pray for protection against threats and tensions, especially with ###. Your Word in Psalm 122:6 instructs us to "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May they prosper who love you.'"
Father, we pray for the salvation of many around the world, including the ### billion unreached. Draw them to Jesus, as Your Word says in 1 Timothy 2:4, "who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." We ask for Your protection over children worldwide, especially those suffering from physical, sexual, and psychological abuse. Lord, intervene in these situations, and bring justice and healing. We pray against the works of darkness and ask for wisdom and discernment for all Your children.
We lift up those on the brink of starvation, especially in ###, ###, ###, and other countries. Provide for their needs, Lord, and bring relief to those suffering from poverty, sickness, and natural and man-made disasters. We pray for Your supernatural provision and protection, especially for the vulnerable—children, women, the elderly, and the infirm.
Lord, awaken Your church to the lateness of the hour and the imminent return of Jesus. We pray for sound biblical teaching and protection from falling away. Strengthen Your church to stand firm in these challenging times.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
