Let’s all be grateful today, Thank ...

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today on behalf of ### / ###, lifting up their prayer request to you. We thank you, Lord, for all that you do for us and for the countless blessings you bestow upon us each day. We acknowledge that you are the source of all goodness and we are grateful for your love and provision.

Jesus, we lift up ### / ### who is feeling lost and depressed. We ask that you would come alongside them in their time of need and take over the wheel of their life. Guide them, Lord, and show them the way out of their darkness. Fill their heart with your peace and joy, and replace their feelings of despair with hope and assurance in your unfailing love.

We pray, in the mighty name of Jesus, that you would bring comfort and healing to ### / ###'s soul. Surround them with your presence and remind them of your faithfulness. Help them to find solace in your Word and to lean on you for strength and guidance.

We also pray for anyone else who may be feeling lost or depressed. May they too experience your loving presence and find hope in you. Lord, we ask that you would use this difficult season to draw them closer to you and to deepen their faith in your promises.

Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for being a God who cares deeply for us. We trust in your perfect timing and your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Depression is a spiritual attack on the mind. It occurs when you feel a lack of hope.

Satan will use this as an opportunity to attack your mind.
He tries to discourage you by telling you about all of your failures, sins, wrong choices, and bad relationships you have had.

God says He has the solution for depression:

God says to watch what you are thinking and to renew your mind with the Word of God.

God says: Rom.12: 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. (Renewing with the Word of God)

God says you are His child and you are more than a conqueror. He says you are an ambassador for Christ and you are to fight the evil around you.
He also says you can do all things through Christ and that all things are possible to those who believe. So trust God and use His might to strengthen yourself and be transformed by renewing your mind with the Word of God.

Jesus defeated Satan at the cross and took away his tools of evil so he tries to attack your mind by putting evil thoughts in your mind.
You need to bind the Spirit of Heaviness and all evil spirits out of your mind.
Put on the full Armor of God and pray a hedge of protection around yourself.


The best thing you can do is get up and go do something fun or find some way to help others.

Here are some scriptures you can focus on for your mental health.

Rom.12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Phil.4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Eph.5:15-16 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

Deuter. 31:8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Psalms 34:17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.

Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Matthew 11:28
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.

I will be praying for you to have a sound mind - the mind of Christ from now on.
I will also pray that evil spirits cannot attack your mind.
God loves you and so do I.

John 8:36
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed

Here are some things to do that will help:

1. Exercise. Move the body...walk or run. 20-30 minutes of outside exercise.

2. What is one thing you enjoyed doing in the past? Find a day and time to spend 10 minutes doing that activity or something similar.

3. Stay away from negative media, posts, anything that triggers negative emotion.

4. Watch an inspirational movie - there are some great Christian movies out now.

5. Write down scripture or positive affirmations and put them in the bathroom and around the house. Read them daily.

6. Do something for someone else.
