Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me to reach my full potential in Christ. Encourage, push, and give me an appetite to never stop learning and growing so that I may become ever better in You. God help me to guard my heart and not let the spirit of jealously creep in. Let me never compare myself, my talents, my spiritual gifts, or possessions that You have blessed me with to anyone else. Help me to never belittle, backbite, mistreat, lie on, or gossip about someone because I am jealous of them. Deliver me from the spirit of completion when it is fuel by jealously. Let me only compete with myself to become ever better in You. God let me not be deceived. If this spirit of jealously is already ruling in my life, deliver me from it. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for the writer of this prayer and especially for all those I love and care about. Amen, So Be It!
