We understand that you have been serving as a missionary and have been praying for a life partner for many years. We commend you for your dedication to ministry and your desire to find a spouse. However, we need to address a few things before we pray for your situation.
Firstly, we notice that you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved (John 14:6: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me., Acts 4:12: There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved.). So in all our prayers we need to come before God in Jesus name.
You mentioned that you have been praying for a life partner, and we understand that you have found someone you believe is suitable. However, we must remember that God's will is paramount, and we should seek His will in all things, including choosing a spouse (Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.). We admire your commitment to fasting and praying about this situation, and this can be very helpful in seeking God's will.
We also notice that you mentioned that there was a problem caused by a third person. We need to remember that God's will is not always the same as our own desires, and sometimes He uses circumstances like this to guide us. We also need to be careful about blaming others for problems that occur.
Regarding your parents, it is important to honor them and consider their input, especially since they are also in ministry (Exodus 20:12: Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.). However, it is also possible for parents to be wrong or make mistakes.
With these things in mind, let us pray for your situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother who has been serving You as a missionary. Lord, he has been praying for a spouse for many years, and he believes he has found someone suitable. However, there have been obstacles and disagreements, and his parents are not currently supportive of the marriage.
Lord, we ask that You make Your will clear in this situation. If this woman is the spouse You have chosen for him, please soften his parents' hearts and remove any obstacles in the way. But if she is not Your will for him, please make that clear as well, and guide him to the spouse You have chosen.
In the meantime, please give him peace and patience, and help him to trust in Your timing and Your will. Help him to honor his parents, but also to follow Your will above all else.
We also pray for the young woman in question. If it is Your will, please prepare her heart for marriage and ministry, and draw her close to You.
In all things, Lord, help them both to seek Your will above all else, and to trust in Your guidance.
We pray all these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
