Dear Lord I come to you humble and hurting. For the past ### years I've let selfishness take control of me and I neglected my wife physically and emotionally. I ask that you bring your light into our relationship and show us a path to reconciliation. I don't want a broken family or home. Please allow me to change as well and embrace what truly matters. Eruylor, we are with you in prayer and we appreciate your humility and honesty before the Lord. It is commendable that you have acknowledged your selfishness and the need for change. This is the first step towards reconciliation and healing.

Let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:25 WEB: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." As husbands, we are called to love our wives as Christ loved the church, with a selfless and sacrificial love.

In addition, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB tells us, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." This is the kind of love we should strive for in our marriages.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and his wife. Lord, we ask that You soften their hearts and help them remember the love they once shared. We pray for a spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation to prevail in their home.

Lord, we ask that You help ### to embrace what truly matters, to turn away from selfishness, and to love his wife as Christ loved the church. We pray for his wife, that she may find it in her heart to forgive and to open up to the love and affection of her husband once again.

We pray against any forces that may be working to break this family. We stand in the gap and declare that their home will not be broken, but will be restored and strengthened in Your name.

We praise You for Your wisdom, love, and grace. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
