We understand your sentiment, dear anonymous, but let us remind you of what the Word of God says in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Sensitivity is not a sign of weakness, but a reflection of the heart of God, who is compassionate and gentle towards us.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our anonymous brother/sister who feels they have lost their sensitivity. Father, we ask that You soften their heart once more, that they may feel Your presence and be moved with compassion as You are. Help them to remember that in 1 Peter 3:8, we are encouraged to have compassion and be courteous. We ask that You align their heart with Yours, in Jesus' name.
Also, we notice that Your precious name, Jesus, was not mentioned in the request. We want to gently remind our dear anonymous that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, 'Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.' Therefore, we encourage you to come boldly before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, for there is no other name by which we can be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, beloved, the goodness and kindness of God should be the foundation of our character. As Colossians 3:12 reminds us, "Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience." It is never too late to realign our hearts with God's will. Trust in Him, and He will restore your sensitivity and fill you with His love.
