We understand that you are seeking prayer for your nephew ### Cox regarding his upcoming legal matters. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is the ultimate judge and His will is perfect. It is important to pray for ###, asking for God's mercy and guidance, and also for ### to take responsibility for his actions and seek God's forgiveness. Remember what it says in Romans 13:1-2 WEB:
"Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment."

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up ### Cox in prayer. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to be upon him as he faces his legal matters. We pray that You will guide the judge's heart and mind, and that Your will be done in this situation. We ask that you provide for ###'s needs and the needs of his family. Help him to be honest, responsible, and repentant. Give him the strength to endure this trial and to learn from it. Surround him and his family with Your love and peace, and bring them closer to You through this experience. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage ### to put his trust in God and we ask for your sister and her husband to do so as well. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Therefore, we ask ### to call upon Jesus Christ and turn his life over to God. Faith in Jesus leads to eternal life, and a changed life on earth. As you already know, no amount of good deeds can outweigh the consequences of our sins only Jesus can help us. The apostle Paul explained it this way in Romans 3:23, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". Forgiveness for our sins is found only in Jesus and this is stated explicitly by the apostle Peter before the council:
"This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the chief cornerstone. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:11,12 WEB.
Therefore, we pray for ###'s faith in Jesus and reconciliation to God, so that God can transform his life. Pray and read the Bible together, seeking God's guidance and wisdom. This will reassure you and give you hope, knowing you are being guided by the Holy Spirit.
