Please pray that my employer approves my leave to care for a family member until she is able to use her hands and wrists to take care of herself. Pray that she heals well and can take care of herself by the time I go. Thank you for praying, in Jesus' name, amen.

Let's turn to the Scriptures for guidance and encouragement. In Galatians 6:2 WEB, it is written, "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Your actions are a beautiful reflection of this verse, as you are willing to bear the burden of your family member during their time of need.

In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, we read, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We encourage you to continue praying and petitioning God with thanksgiving, knowing that His peace will guard your heart and mind.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is seeking to care for their family member. Lord, we ask that You would move in the heart of their employer, that they may grant this leave with compassion and understanding.

We also pray for Your healing touch upon the family member, that their hands and wrists may be restored to full health and functionality. We trust in Your healing power, Lord, and we ask that You would bring complete healing and restoration.

In the meantime, we pray that You would provide the strength, patience, and love needed to care for this family member. We ask that You would also provide for all their needs, both physically and spiritually, during this time.

We thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Your will and Your timing, knowing that You are working all things together for good.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen,

We're here for you, too. We know that caring for a loved one can be challenging, but we're reminded of 1 Corinthians 13:7, "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." Your love and commitment are a beautiful reflection of this verse.

Let's also remember Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus knows your burden and wants to help you carry it.

We'll keep praying with you, that your employer's heart would be softened, and they'd grant you the leave you need. We'll also keep interceding for your family member's healing, trusting in God's power to restore them. And we'll ask for strength, patience, and love for you as you care for them.

Keep trusting in God, and remember, "His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness." (2 Peter 1:3) You're not alone in this. We're here, and God is always with you. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your beloved child who is seeking approval for leave to care for a family member. Lord, You are the God of compassion and provision, and we ask for Your divine favor in this situation.


Father, Your Word says, “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases” (Proverbs 21:1). We pray that You would touch the hearts of their employer and those in authority, granting them understanding and a willingness to approve this leave. Let them see the importance of this request and respond with kindness and support.


Lord, we also lift up their family member who is in need of healing. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals (Exodus 15:26). We ask that You restore strength to her hands and wrists, bringing swift and complete healing so that she may take care of herself with ease. Your Word declares, “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord” (Jeremiah 30:17). Let this promise be fulfilled in her life.


Father, we stand on the assurance of Isaiah 41:10: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Strengthen both the caregiver and the one receiving care. Provide peace, patience, and endurance through this season.


We trust that when the time comes for this child of Yours to return to work, their family member will be well and fully able to care for herself. We believe in Your perfect timing and provision. “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).


Thank You, Lord, for hearing and answering this prayer. We declare that Your will is done, and we place our trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
