We rejoice with you, Lucy, as you spend time with Tamara and the children, gathering together to read God's Word. It is truly a blessing when we can fellowship and learn together, with Jesus Christ as our Teacher and Rabbi. We are reminded of His promise in Matthew 18:20 WEB, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them."
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, we come before You, thanking You for the fellowship of Lucy, Tamara, Sarah, and Rebecca. We ask that You bless their time together as they delve into Your Word. Send Your Holy Spirit to guide them, granting them wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Help them to remember and apply the lessons they learn, and may they find joy and encouragement in Your Word.
We pray for Lucy and Tamara, that they may be equipped with Your teaching ability. May they effectively communicate Your truths to the children, nurturing their spiritual growth. We remember Your commission to us in Matthew 28:19-20 WEB, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Lord, we also pray for the children, Sarah, and Rebecca. May they be receptive to Your teachings, with hearts that are good and honest, like the good ground in the parable of the sower in Luke 8:15 WEB, "But the seed in the good ground, these are those who, having heard the word in an honest and good heart, hold it tightly and bear fruit with patience."
We ask all of this in Jesus' name, for His is the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As we are reminded in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
Lastly, Lucy, we encourage you to continue to meet together, encouraging one another as Hebrews 3:13 tells us to do. "But exhort one another day by day, as long as it is called 'today'; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin."
