We are truly sorry to hear about the layers of grief and pain you are experiencing. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB. It's important to remember that God cares about your pain, and you can cast all your anxieties on him because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
You mentioned that you didn't have closure with your parent before they passed away. We have the ultimate hope that through Jesus Christ those who die in Christ are just sleeping. We grieve but not like those who have no hope of eternity. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 Do not be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you do not grieve like the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. WEB
Regarding their manipulation, we understand that it has distorted your sense of identity. Remember, your true identity is in Christ.
You are complete in Him Colossians 2:10 WEB. You are a child of God. If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:31,32. Therefore, if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36 WEB. Free from your past and the manipulation that occurred before. It's important to speak forgiveness as you did over the situation but also claim the promises of God regarding your identity and future.
Concerning your workplace, remember that God sees all that is happening. If you have been treated unfairly and have no recourse, remember the words of Peter: For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten, you endure? But when you do well and suffer, and take it patiently, this is commendable with God. For to this were you called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps 1 Peter 2:20-21 WEB. Christ's response to unfair treatment was to press into God more deeply and continue in obedience. We advise you to do the same.
Let's pray together:
Father, we come before you and ask You to surround Anonymous with your healing love and grace. We ask you to lift the weight of grief and manipulation and help Anonymous to truly claim their identity in you. Please give Anonymous wisdom regarding their workplace and help them to have a spirit of forgiveness and obedience regardless of how they are treated.
