We understand your desire to pray for the departed, Esaem, but we must align our prayers with biblical principles. The Bible teaches that our focus should be on praying for the living, not the dead. In Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 (WEB), it is written, "For the living know that they will die, but the dead don't know anything, neither do they have any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have all perished long ago. Neither do they have any more a portion forever in anything that is done under the sun."
Jesus Christ is the mediator between God and man, and it is in His name that we pray. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we encourage you to focus your prayers on the living, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Esaem and their family. We ask that You comfort them in their time of grief and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that You would draw Esaem and their family closer to You, that they may know the hope that is found in Jesus Christ alone. Help them to trust in Your goodness and Your plan for their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Esaem, to seek God's will for your life and the lives of your loved ones. Trust in Him, for He is faithful and His love endures forever. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and can be saved. As it is written in Romans 10:9 (WEB), "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
