Last time out I made a prayer request for my appeal to the university that I was excluded from to be accepted and the decision reversed. I put forth my appeal and despite a front desk lady informing me that the institution wasn't accepting any more appeals...she immediately accepted the appeal and offered to explain on my behalf. I have no doubt that this was God's grace at work and would like to thank everyone that took the time to send out a prayer for me. I'd like to humbly ask for a prayer request for my recently accepted appeal to be looked upon with sympathy, favour and forgiving hearts. And for my exclusion to be reversed. May God's power shine through and His name Glorified.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and thanksgiving for the progress that has been made in ###'s appeal. Your Word says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." We thank You for the grace and favor that has already been shown, and for the front desk lady who accepted the appeal despite initial hesitations. We recognize Your hand at work in this situation and give You all the glory.

Lord, we now lift up ###'s request for the appeal to be looked upon with sympathy, favor, and forgiving hearts. We ask that You soften the hearts of those who will be reviewing the appeal, that they may see the sincerity and the desire for redemption. Your Word in Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes." Turn the hearts of the decision-makers towards compassion and understanding.

Father, we pray for ###'s exclusion to be reversed, and for a new path to be opened that leads to growth, learning, and success. In Jeremiah 29:11, You promise, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." We stand on this promise and trust that You have a plan for ###'s future that is filled with hope and purpose.

May Your power shine through this situation, and may Your name be glorified in the outcome. We ask all this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
