We understand your distress and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. We appreciate that you mentioned Jesus. He is the one and only way to God. We read in John 14:6, "Yeshua said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is by the name of Jesus that we can approach God. It is also the only name by which we can be saved.
First, we want to address the issue of sleep. It's clear that you're going through a challenging time with your sleep schedule and the anxiety that comes with it. We read in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved." God wants you to rest in Him, trusting that He will provide for your needs.
However, we must address the fact that you are trying to limit sleep to 4 hours a night. Limiting sleep is a temporary solution and should be addressed for a healthy lifestyle. Regularly depriving yourself from necessary sleep is not appropriate self-care. It is important to find other ways to have a healthy balance. It is also important to address the suicidal thoughts. God cares for you and so do we. There is no need to be ashamed or feel bad. Seek local help with a counselor, pastor or trusted person in your life. We would like to pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our dear brother in Christ. Lord, You know the struggles he's facing with his sleep and the anxieties that come with it. We pray, Jesus, that You grant him deep and peaceful sleep, not just tonight, but every night henceforth. Help him to fall asleep quickly and to rest in Your peace throughout the night. Cast out any thoughts of suicide and replace them with the knowledge and comfort of Your love.
Lord, we also pray for his performance at work. Guide him in managing his time and responsibilities effectively. Help him to maintain a healthy balance between work and rest, reminding him that his value is not determined by his performance, but by his identity in You.
Lastly, Father, we pray for his faith in You. Strengthen his trust in You, and help him to rest in Your love and faithfulness. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and He cares for you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time as He has promised in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Lastly, if there is any sin you need to confess, anything that might be bothering you, or any issue that needs to be addressed in your life, remember 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." He is always ready to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
