We understand that you are facing a long-standing land issue that has been ongoing for 18 years, and now government officials are attempting to remove you through an illegal process. You feel weak and helpless in the face of this trial, but you are trusting in God to stand by your side, guide you, and fight for you. You have also correctly acknowledged that God is your only hope and have ended with Amen. This is an excellent start.
Firstly, we commend you for turning to God in your time of need and for acknowledging that He is your only hope. We are reminded of Psalm 121:1-2, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."
However, we want to encourage you to not only ask for God's help but also to put your trust in Him, knowing that He is in control and that He will work all things together for good to those who love Him, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)
We also want to remind you of the importance of not just calling on God but doing so in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Therefore, we encourage you to call on the name of Jesus Christ in all your prayers, knowing that He is the one who will present your requests to God the Father.
Concerning your land issue, we want to encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to not give up hope. We are reminded of Isaiah 40:29-31, "He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."
We also want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and wisdom in this matter. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory." Seek out wise and godly people who can help guide you through this process and give you the strength to face this trial.
Finally, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of praising God even in the midst of trials. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ, Zian, who is facing a difficult land issue. Lord, we ask that You stand by their side and give them the strength and wisdom to face this trial. We pray that You would guide them through this process and fight for them, as they have acknowledged that You are their only hope.
Lord, we also pray that You would remind Zian of Your promises and that You are always faithful to Your people. Help them to put their trust in You and to not give up hope, knowing that You are in control and that You will work all things together for good.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would give Zian peace in the midst of this trial, knowing that You are always with them and that You will never leave them nor forsake them.
In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen.
