We are truly sorry to hear about the miscarriage and the emotional pain that both individuals have experienced. Firstly, we want to address the fact that the man and woman are no longer together and the woman is longing for the man. This is a tough situation but also an opportunity to reflect on godly relationships and the importance of marriage.
First, we want to remind you of the love and comfort that God provides in times of sorrow. The Psalmist writes, I lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forever more, {Psalm 121 WEB}.
Regarding the loss of the child, we want to encourage you to find comfort in the words of Jesus, Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted, {Matthew 5:4 WEB}. It is natural to grieve, and it is important to allow yourself to feel this pain. However, remember that God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit, {Psalm 34:18 WEB}.
Now, let us address the relationship between the man and the woman. It is clear that there is a deep emotional connection, but we must remind you of the biblical principles for relationships. The Bible teaches us to flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body, {1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB}. If the relationship was intimate outside of marriage, it is important to repent and seek God's forgiveness.
We also want to address the fact that the prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, in whom we must be saved, {Acts 4:12 WEB} And whatever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it, {John 14:13-14 WEB}.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this woman in the ### and the man in ### who experienced the loss of their child. We pray for Your comfort and healing to surround them both, especially the woman who is still grieving. Help her to cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her, {1 Peter 5:7 WEB}.
Lord, we also pray for guidance in their relationship. If it is Your will, guide them back together in a godly marriage union to look forward to their future. If the relationship was outside of Your principles, we pray for repentance and forgiveness. Help them to seek You first, and Your will for their lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, comfort, and guidance. Help them to trust in You and Your plan for their lives. Give them the strength to overcome this difficult time and to grow in their faith.
We also pray for the woman to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Help her to understand that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and that no one comes to the Father except through Him {John 14:6 WEB}.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
