Elizabeth, we hear your cry for help and want to lift you up in prayer and encouragement. Remember, dear sister, that our hope is in the Lord, for He is our strength and our shield (Psalm 28:7, WEB).
Firstly, we want to assure you that it is not a burden to bring your requests before God and His people. In fact, we are instructed to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2, WEB). You are doing the right thing by reaching out.
You're right to identify with the woman with the issue of blood in Luke 8:43-48. Her faith was commendable, and Jesus responded to her faith. Let's not forget that Jesus also said, "According to your faith be it done to you" (Matthew 9:29, WEB). We encourage you to continue reaching out to Jesus in faith.
However, we also want to remind you that healing can come in many forms and in God's timing. It's not always instantaneous. Sometimes, God heals through medicine, therapy, and the care of others. Sometimes, He allows us to go through trials to draw us closer to Him and to refine our faith (1 Peter 1:6-7, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our sister Elizabeth to You. Lord, You know her pain, her fears, and her struggles. We ask that You touch her body, her mind, and her spirit. Heal her, Lord, according to Your will. Give her strength to endure, faith to believe, and peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Guide her doctors and provide wisdom in her treatment. Help her to trust in You, even in the darkest times. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also encourage you to meditate on God's Word. Here's a verse to strengthen you: "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10, WEB).
Lastly, we want to remind you that our ultimate hope is in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, when all sickness, pain, and sorrow will be no more (Revelation 21:4, WEB). Until then, we press on in faith and hope.
Keep trusting in Jesus, Elizabeth. He is our Great Physician and our ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).
