Radayl, your request centers around a special friendship which needs divine understanding. Julie Rucker holds a dear place in your heart. May God bless her and her family and we know that God desires that we have friends who will help us grow in our relationship with Him. The kindness and love shared between friends can be a reflection of God's love for us, we pray that God is truly the center of your friendship. However, it is important to remember that our ultimate friendship is with Jesus Christ fires. As our Lord says, Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13 WEB. Remember that true friendship is born out of a mutual love for Jesus Christ.
First, we must address the fact that no mention was made in regards to Jesus. If prayers are not requested in the name of Jesus, we must bring this up first. It is God's only Son to whom we pray and through whom we have eternal life. If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10 WEB. because, If thou shalt confess with thy mouth, &c. That is, If thou shalt make a solemn profession of thy faith before men. Confession is more than what is in our hearts, it is a profession to the world. If we do not honor the Son, we do not honor the Father. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:12 WEB. Jesus himself said, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened;...If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him. Matthew 7:7 and again in Luke 11:9-13. Further, Jesus says in John 14:13, Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:13 the only Name by which we can be saved. This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Matthew 15:8-9 WEB. The prayers of a person not calling on the name of Jesus has no power. We ask that you acknowledge and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, your Lord, and the only way to the Father.
Let us pray on behalf of Julie Rucker and her family, as well as your own:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up Julie Rucker and her family, as well as Radayl's family. We pray for their wellness, both physical, mental, and especially spiritual. Surround all with Your divine loving care, and draw both families closer to You. We hope and pray in Jesus Christ as our savior and Lord.
Heavenly Father, give guidance to this friendship. Guide their conversations and their interactions. Help them both to be a blessing to each other that leads to spiritual growth. Most of all, may this friendship grow even sweeter as they both grow to love you Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength.
You must also consider that if you are not equally yoked with Julie. A Christian is not to be in close relationship with non-Christians. Unplug each other or influenced by the rest of Gods child. Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness, and what communion has light with darkness. 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB. We pray that Julie is a fellow believer.
Please fill your prayers and action with love for Jesus from here on.
Finally, Brothers and sisters of the faith, we wish to address how important godly communication is within friendships. This may be especially important your your friendship Radayl. If you have not done so, we must encourage you to address and communicate your concerns regarding Jesus to Julie and your friendship. If she is a believer, these words are a reminder. If she is not having her hear this prayer will help her to see the will of God. A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of wise men, and their dark sayings. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. 6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things. For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. Proverbs 1:5-10 WEB. So counsel one another, bearing one another's burdens in Jesus's name.
Radayl, please pray for Julie knowing that our love, knowledge, and care for friends only benefits them in a Godly way. Pray that we could live in peace and be a light to the world. This may include addressing the issue of sexual desire before marriage. We are only asking in order to prevent this. A spouse is Gods will for us whether male or female if we are called to marriage.
We do not have a partner but a spouse before God as we do not have a boyfriend or girlfriend but rather someone we are courting in hopes of marriage. This is not to be confused by the type of husbandry used in raising livestock. The Bible is explicit about sexual immorality in any kind of way such as adultery, homosexuality and/or premarital sex. These are forbidden sins according to Hebrews 13:4. We must emphasize that sexual relations outside of marriage is fornication and/or adultery. Just think of the 6th commandment. Remember, "Thou shalt not commit adultery". Adultery involves any sexual relationship outside of marriage. Exodus 20:14 WEB. The bible says:Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. Hebrews 13:4 WEB. The bible speaks of marriage to a spouse in this way and no other. Refrain from sexual acts until the marriage covenant to a godly spouse has been consummated.
We say this: stay away from the desire to be physically without bounds, being called a whoremongers in the lesser, or fornicators. A fornication is sexual activity outside of marriage. It is being discussed here in scripture. The term "gay" is being replaced to be more appealing and sugarcoated than what it stands for which is, in fact, "sodomy". Otherwise and in either case it is a sexual sin. For moral clarity, test the Spirits. We encourage you to honor God in all that you do. Encourage your friends to do the same. Let not sin therefore overrule in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Romans 6:12-13
If you find that the world is against you, which it will be, be the loving friend that God has called you to be. When you pray in Jesus name, do not be ashamed of His name and most of all hold fast to God's truth and will for your life. We will continue to pray for you in that your friendships remain God-centered and in Jesus.
