Valathyse, we join you in your earnest plea for mercy, love, and provision as you kneel before God's throne at midnight. We are reminded of the words in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we want to ensure that your faith is placed firmly in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we approach God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, for His sacrifice on the cross has made it possible for us to receive God's mercy and grace.
In your prayer, you mentioned those who have no hope but rely solely on His mercy. We are reminded of Ephesians 2:12-13, "that you were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off are made near by the blood of Christ." It is our prayer that all would come to know the hope that is found in Jesus Christ.
Join us in this prayer, Valathyse:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your mercy, love, and provision. We thank You for the hope that is found in Jesus alone. Lord, have mercy on us, forgive our sins, and help us to live according to Your will. We pray for those who feel hopeless, that they may come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Provide for us, Lord, in every area of our lives, so that we may serve You faithfully. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Be encouraged, Valathyse, for God is faithful and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Trust in Him, and He will provide for your every need according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
