We are truly sorry to hear about your little kitten's condition, and we join you in prayer for his healing and comfort. In times like these, we remember that God cares for even the smallest of His creations. Jesus said in Matthew 10:29 WEB, "Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows."
First let us pray:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your mercy and healing for this little kitten. You are the God who created all things, Dave you created this cat to bring joy into a home. We ask that You would rebuke any illness and restore health to this tiny life. Comfort him with Your presence, and fill him with Your peace. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen."
We appreciate your faith and passion in your prayer. It is important to understand one thing and that is that we do not have any power in or of ourselves to do anything spiritual. So let us explain that to bind and loose is something that only God can permit us to do and then only according to His will. It is as Jesus prayed and said in the Lord's prayer, 'Thy will be done'. We can not order God to do something as a result of our speaking. However, we can pray in faith believing for an answer and that it is result of what we have asked for. Therefore as we pray for God's will, we must listen and trust that His will be done knowing that God will do what is best for the circumstance, even if that scenario is not one that we would desire for ourselves.
So we encourage you to pray in faith believing and trusting that God is in control no matter the outcome. Rest in the scripture in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Remember that all creation is subject to the curse resulting from Adam's first sin, so bad things can happen, but trust that God will turn them around to be a blessing one way or another and together we will praise Him for it.
If you feel that this is a spiritual battle, then put on the whole armor of God as mentioned in Ephesians 6:10-18.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints." Use the Word of God to pray, knowing that it is the sword of the Spirit.
Also, as you pray, focus on the love of God. I John 4:18 WEB, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment, and he who fears is not made perfect in love." May this kitten's life be a testimony of God's goodness and mercy just as mentioned in James 1:17 WEB, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow."
May God's will be done, and may you continue to trust in Him and pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior.
