Let us come before God in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ for Adelph. It means Brother. We find it interesting that there was no mention of praying for his salvation. Is he saved? However, our prayers are not for showing favoritism but for his recovery and healing. Being that he is married and it appears his wife has access to us, we will focus on the issue raised.
We know that by Jesus' stripes, Adolf can be healed, and we stand in agreement with Loxshul's prayer for his healing. Let us pray together. The prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up (WEB James 5.16).
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Bible references a number of accounts of Jesus Christ healing people of different sicknesses. We remember the woman with an issue of blood. Faith allowed her to receive healing. She pressed through the multitude and touched His garment. Jesus said, "Daughter, cheer up! Your faith has made you well." (WEB Matthew 9.22)
We remember that Jesus said to the paralytic, "Son, cheer up! Your sins are forgiven you." That is a confirmation that God forgives and heals. Adelph we are praying for has these same assurances. The name Adelph still receives the same forgiveness of any and all sins that the paralytic received because the word of God is an unchanging Word of God. (WEB Mark 2.5) We know that Jesus said to the paralytic, "But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins" (he said to the paralytic), "I tell you, arise, take up your mat, and go to your house." (WEB Mark 2.10 - 11)
Jesus Christ healed so many in the Bible and Adelph should be restored and whole according the words that Jesus spoke. Help Adelph to trust in You, Lord, with all his heart, and lean not on his own understanding. In all his ways, may he acknowledge You, so that You can make his paths straight. May he cease from his own labors and enter into Your rest. Restore to him the joy of Your salvation, and uphold him by Your gracious Spirit (WEB Ps 51.12).
Scripture has numerous examples of healing. There was a healing of Jarius' daughter. Jesus went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. There was a healing of a woman with an issue of blood. The healing at the Pool of Bethesda. There was a healing of a withered hand. May we help Adelph to see a correlation of his healing to these examples. However, may Adelph also see that he is not just being healed, but being raised up for a better relationship with You in the name of Jesus Christ.
Breathe on Adelph God. Help Adelph to have no consternation nor fear as You help him to breath and quickly recover. Give Adelph the expectation he will fully recover. Begin with the breathing and continue to manage every aspect of his healing. Your authentic power has been confirmed.
We pray for Adelph to have a peace that surpasses all understanding that he can be free from this discomfort of coughing and any related symptoms. Give him a thankful heart, and if he has not done so, help him to believe according to WEB 1 John 5.1 "Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and whoever loves the Father loves the child born of him." Let us seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to Adelph in Christ Jesus name (WEB Matthew 6.33).
So we are praying that his mental strength and wisdom makes him increasingly worthy of this calling and may he attend to the home and guests as You will Lord on the 31th.
Now, may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, equip Adelph with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in him what is pleasing to You, in Jesus' name we pray (WEB 13.20-21).
This is our prayer of faith that Adelph be healed and be nourishing his faith. It is only through Jesus Christ can we come to God and it is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved.
