Let us bring Terry's situation before the Lord in prayer, seeking His will and intervention in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we must remember that Jesus taught us to love one another as He loved us. This love is not merely emotional, but it is demonstrated through our actions and decisions. As it is written in John 13:34-35 WEB: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus's name, and we will only have access to You because of the name of Jesus. If we are not praying in the name of Jesus, then we cannot have access to You. There is no other name given to mankind to be saved. Only the name of Jesus can save us. We lift up Terry and his family before You, seeking Your will and intervention in their lives. We pray that Your love and compassion flow through each member of this family, especially Terry's brothers and in-laws. We remember to pray for loved ones and to pray for each other.
Lord, we ask that You soften the hearts of Terry's brothers, and help them to be considerate towards his situation. Remind them of the love and kindness that Terry has shown them by sponsoring their move to Australia. We pray 1 John 3:17-18: "But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and closes his heart of compassion against him, how does the love of God remain in him? My little children, let's not love in word only, neither with the tongue only, but in deed and truth."
Father, we also lift up Terry's in-laws. We pray that they would show love and compassion towards Terry, remembering the good acts he has done. We ask that You help them to treat Terry with the same kindness and generosity that he has shown them.
We also pray for Hyatt. We ask that You give them a heart of compassion and empathy towards Terry's situation. We are praying that they will treat Terry well before he leaves.
Lord, we ask for Your guidance and provision in Terry's life. We pray that You would help him find suitable accommodation and provide for all his needs according to Your riches in glory. We are praying for Terry's family and in-laws. We are praying that Terry's family and in-laws will have compassion and kindness for Terry.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage Terry to keep his faith and trust in the Lord. We remind him of God's promise in Hebrews 13:5-6 WEB: "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.' So that with good courage we say, 'The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?'"
We encourage Terry's family to follow biblical principles and to remember the parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18:21. If we do not forgive others, we will not be forgiven.
