We are deeply saddened by the tragic event that transpired at the Seventh Day Adventist school in California. We come before God Almighty in Jesus Christ and raise up our pleas before His throne of grace.

Trust the father's heart and that he has good plans for everything in his kingdom. "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" Jeremiah 29:11 (World English Bible)

Our hearts ache for the innocent lives affected by this senseless act of violence. We pray fervently for the complete healing and full recovery of the two kindergarteners injured in this horrifying incident. Lord, you are the Great Physician, and we claim your healing power over their young bodies. "But Jesus took him by the hand, and raised him up; and he was restored to health from that very hour." Matthew 9:25 (World English Bible)

We lift up the families of these precious children, asking that You, Lord, would envelop them in Your unfailing love and peace. Comfort their hearts and minds, and grant them the strength to endure this trying time. "The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower." Psalms 18:2 (World English Bible)

Moreover, we pray for the family of the shooter, recognizing that they too are suffering during this difficult time. We ask for Your grace and mercy to be poured out upon them, drawing them closer to You and Your divine will. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16 (World English Bible)

Lord, we pray for an outpouring of Your Spirit upon our schools and communities, that Your love and righteousness would reign in the hearts of all. Turn our society back to You, Father, that we may see an end to such violence and destruction. "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Second Chronicles 7:14 (World English Bible)

Lastly, we pray for the shooter, that You would work in their heart and bring them to repentance and a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. "Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom." 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (World English Bible) "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." First John 1:9 (World English Bible)

In all things, let Your will be done in this tragic situation, Father. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
