We join with you in lifting up your beloved children to the Lord, and we are grateful that you have turned to God in prayer. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6: IJC, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Firstly, we want to address your prayer for your son who has passed away. We believe that your son is now in the presence of the Lord, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:8: "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words." We pray that you find comfort in knowing that your son is with the Lord.
Now for your daughter, we pray that the Lord will indeed watch over her and guide her in the path of righteousness. We pray that she will grow in the knowledge of the Lord, and that His love will be evident in her life.
We understand your concern for your children's wellbeing. Know that God wants only the best for them. We pray that your daughter will make good choices in life and do well in school.
Moreover, we pray that God will surround your daughter with godly influences, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:33: "Do not be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals." We pray that she will walk in a path away from evil, as it is written in Romans 16:17: "Now I beg you, brothers, mark those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them."
We also pray that your daughter will grow to be a godly woman, healthy and happy in the Lord. We pray that she will know the love of the Lord deeply and personally, as it is written in Ephesians 3:17-19: "That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
Heavenly Father, we ask that You cover her with the precious blood of Jesus. Guard and keep her under the shadow of Your wings. We ask You to hold her hand every step of the way. In Jesus, we pray knowing that You are always with her and will never leave her nor forsake her. We ask that the Holy Spirit will dwell in her heart and soul to guide her throughout her life and use her for Your glory. In Jesus Christ's name.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying for your children, as it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: "Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." Keep trusting God concerning your children.
