We join with you, Anamartouni, in lifting up your son and daughter before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of prayer and the love of our heavenly Father.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is by believing him and what he did on the cross for us that we are saved. Jesus is the intermediary and without him we can not be saved or approach God. It is important that we understand that the power of prayer comes from our relationship with Jesus Christ and not from any special words or rituals we may use. Trust in Jesus and believe in his name, and your prayers will be heard in heaven.
We pray that God will watch over your children, guiding them and and protecting them in all they do. May He grant them wisdom and discernment to make good choices in life, and may they excel in their studies. Let them know that they are loved by God and that His love is the source of all true love. May they grow up to be happy, healthy adults who know and serve the Lord. Let them live in the shelter of the Most High, and may they abide in the shadow of the Almighty. Let the blood of Jesus shed on cross for us and our sins cover and protect them from all evil and harm and keep them from bad influence.
As it is written in Psalm 91 WEB: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."
Regarding your son's communication, we pray that God will grant him the ability to speak and communicate effectively with others. May God give him the words to speak and the wisdom to use them for His glory.
As it is written in Luke 12:11-12 WEB: For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that same hour what you must say, and in Colossians 4:6 WEB: Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to teach your children about the Lord and His ways. As it is written in Proverbs 22:6 WEB: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." It is the responsibility of us to guide our children and teach them the truth of God and His word. And if we do that they will be blessed and prosper in godliness. May your children come to know Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord, and may they walk in His ways all the days of their lives.
We pray this all in Jesus' name. Amen
