We join with you, Anamartouni, in lifting up your children to the Lord in prayer. It's wonderful to see your heart's desire for your children's welfare and their relationship with God. Let's pray together and seek God's will for their lives.
Firstly, we notice that the prayer does not include the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together in Jesus' name:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Anamartouni's children to You. We pray that You watch over them and protect them from all evil and harm. Guide their steps and help them to make good choices in life, choices that honor and glorify You.
Father, we pray that You surround them with godly influences, that they may not be led astray by the world's temptations. Help them to do well in school, and grant them the wisdom and knowledge they need to succeed.
Reveal to them, Lord, their identity in You. Let them know that they are loved, that they are Your children, and that You have a good plan and purpose for their lives. Help them to grow up to be good, happy, and healthy adults, firmly rooted in Your love and truth.
We pray that You would prepare them for godly marriages, that they may find Your will in a spouse that loves and honors You. Help them to understand the sanctity of marriage, and that it is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as You have ordained.
Father, we pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It's in His name that we have access to You, and it's in His name that we are saved. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Anamartouni, continue to pray for your children unceasingly, and trust in the Lord's promises. Remember God's word in Proverbs 22:6 WEB: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Also, in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB: "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, and trust in Him for your children's future.
