Let us come together in prayer and counsel for Hokulea, who has brought forth a heartfelt request before us.
Firstly, we rejoice with Hokulea for their desire to see their children walk in the ways of the Lord. As it is written in Proverbs 22:6 (WEB), "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Let us pray that their children may be open to God's leading and follow Him all the days of their lives.
**Prayer:** Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up Hokulea's children to You. Soften their hearts and draw them close to You. Guide them in the path of righteousness and protect them from all harm, as promised in Psalm 91.
We are also encouraged to hear about Hokulea's friend who recently attended church. We trust that the Lord is drawing her to Himself. We pray that she may feel welcomed and convicted by the Holy Spirit, not by guilt, but by a desire to belong to the family of God. In 1 Corinthians 12:18 (WEB) it says, "But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired."
**Prayer:** Lord, we pray for Hokulea's friend. Draw her closer to You and assure her that she belongs in Your house. Surround her with a loving and supportive community.
Hokulea also seeks strength and wisdom to grow in faith and maintain daily devotions. In James 1:5 (WEB) it says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
**Prayer:** Father, strengthen Hokulea's faith. Grant the wisdom and discipline needed to maintain daily devotions and remember Your Word. Help Hokulea to hide Your Word in their heart, as spoken in Psalm 119:11.
Lastly, Hokulea prays for a good day at work filled with cooperation and smooth operations. In Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB) it says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
**Prayer:** Lord, bless Hokulea's workplace. Foster a spirit of cooperation and harmony among colleagues. Help Hokulea to work heartily, as unto You, and grant a smooth and productive day.
In all these things, we pray in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as Acts 4:12 (WEB) declares, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
May God richly bless Hokulea and answer these prayers according to His will. Amen.
