We rejoice with you in your praise of Almighty God for answered prayer. Indeed, every good gift comes from above, from the Father of lights (James 1:17, WEB).
Let's approach God's throne of grace with confidence for Kenny, your son (Hebrews 4:16, WEB).
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Kenny. You know his situation, his fears, and his needs. We ask that you surround him with your loving arms, comfort him, and guide him. We pray that you will bring godly influences into his life, people who will encourage him and help him find his way back to you.*
It is heartbreaking to hear about Kenny's current state, but we trust that God can turn any situation around for good (Romans 8:28, WEB). Kenny's marriage did not align with biblical principles, as he was unequally yoked with someone who hates God (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). This might have contributed to the challenges he is currently facing.
*Lord, we pray that through this trial, Kenny will turn his heart to you. Give him strength as he goes through this divorce, and help him to forgive as you have forgiven us (Ephesians 4:32, WEB).*
We encourage Kenny to trust in God, even in this difficult time. God promises to be a husband to the husbandless and a father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5, WEB). He is not alone, even if he feels alone right now.
*Father, we ask that you provide for Kenny's physical needs. Give him a safe place to stay, food to eat, and the means to support himself. Let your provision be a testament of your love and care for him.*
We also encourage you, as Kenny's parent, to continue praying fervently for him, trusting that the effective, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much (James 5:16, WEB).
Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God's throne of grace. It is only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
*We pray all these things in Jesus' name, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.*
Be strong and courageous, knowing that God loves Kenny and is working in his life.
