We are truly sorry to hear about the job setback, but we are encouraged by the unwavering faith and persistence in prayer. We stand with you in agreement believing for God's best. We want to remind everyone that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways, and His thoughts than our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB)
Being qualified and experienced is commendable, but we must also remember that promotion and opportunities come from the Lord, not solely based on our qualifications. For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another. (Psalm 75:6-7 WEB)
We have a biblical example of why we should not become weary in well-doing. Galatians 6:9 WEB, says Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don't give up. (Galatians 6:9 WEB) This tells us that when God answers our prayer is up to Him, but He will answer us if we faint not.
We must also remember that God is faithful, and He will not allow us to be tempted above that which we are able to bear, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that we may be able to bear it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB)
So, let us continue to pray without ceasing for God to direct him to the right job, believing that this is an opportunity for God to show His mighty hand and His faithfulness.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, thanking You for Your faithfulness and goodness. We ask that You direct him to the job that You have prepared for him, that You would open the eyes to see it, and give him the strength to walk through the doors. Lord, let Your will be done in his life. Guide his steps and lead him to the right job in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
While waiting for God to answer this prayer, continue to study the word of God and keep your faith strong.
