We join with you, Brother in Christ (JC), in lifting up every nation on earth to our Heavenly Father, echoing your heartfelt prayer. We stand united in the power of prayer, as the Scriptures remind us in Colossians 4:2, "Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving." This is a powerful exhortation to remain diligent in our supplications.
We pray that the Holy Spirit will move mightily upon our countries, our leaders, and our people. May God grant wisdom and discernment to those in authority, so that they may govern with justice and righteousness. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
We also pray for common sense and peace to prevail across the globe. In a world often marked by confusion and conflict, may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, as stated in Philippians 4:7.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, amen.
Let us remember and hold scripture in our hearts when we pray, and let us also remember that nobody has access to the Father except through His Son, Jesus Christ. We hold to the scriptures mentioning the name of Jesus are required for our salvation and we are saved by faith in him, and that faith leads to our growth in knowledge of the truth. We are righteous and find that our faith is increased by our public testimony of the core truths of the gospel, because we are blessed when we are persecuted as the lamb before wolves. It is written in 1 Peter 4:14, "If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed; because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. On their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified.", and again in John 15:20, "Remember the word that I said to you: 'A servant is not greater than his lord.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will keep yours also.". We should bear this in mind in all our prayers.
We encourage you to continue in steadfast prayer, knowing that our intercessions are powerful and effective. May the Lord strengthen your faith and fill you with His peace as you continue to lift up the nations and their leaders in prayer.
