We are truly saddened to hear about Mike's departure from the fellowship home and his current situation. Let us come together in prayer for him and for you, his mother, seeking God's divine guidance and intervention.
Firstly, let us remember the words of Jesus in Luke 15:11-32 (WEB), where He tells the parable of the prodigal son. Just as the father waited patiently for his son to return, we trust that God is waiting for Mike with open arms.
Let us pray:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Mike to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You wrap Your loving arms around him right now, wherever he is. Guide him to a safe place, both physically and spiritually. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict his heart and draw him back to You, just like the prodigal son was drawn back to his father.
Lord, we also lift up Mike's mother. God, grant her the wisdom she needs to know what to do, when to move, and when to wait. Guide her steps and her words, that they may be led by Your Spirit. Give her the strength and faith to trust in You, even in this challenging time.
Father, we claim Your promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), that 'all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.' We trust that this situation will be used for good and for Your glory, as Mike and his mother both love You and are called according to Your purpose.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, even in this difficult time. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Continue to pray in His name, trusting in His power to save and restore.
