Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus Christ, we come before you on behalf of Lisa and her prayer request for Jason. We lift up Jason to you, asking for deliverance from his addictions and sexual immorality. We pray that you would break the chains that bind him and set him free from the power of these destructive behaviors. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body." We ask that you would convict Jason of his sins and bring godly sorrow upon him that leads to repentance.
Father, we pray that Jason would take full accountability and responsibility for his actions, recognizing the destruction they have caused in his life and in his relationship with Lisa. Help him to see the need for change and to turn back to the cross of Jesus Christ. Your Word reminds us in 2 Corinthians 7:10, "Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death." We ask that you would bring godly sorrow upon Jason, leading him to true repentance and a desire to make things right.
Lord, we ask that you would send godly people into Jason's path to wake him up and guide him back to you. Surround him with individuals who will speak truth into his life and encourage him to seek help for his addictive behaviors. Your Word assures us in Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." We pray for divine connections and interventions that will lead Jason towards healing and restoration.
Father, we lift up a special prayer for a Christmas miracle in Jason's life. We ask that you would touch his heart during this season and cause him to reflect on his actions and the impact they have had on his relationship with Lisa. May the loneliness he experiences on Christmas day be a catalyst for change in his thinking and a turning point towards seeking help and making things right. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We pray for your divine intervention and for a transformation in Jason's life.
Lord, we trust in your faithfulness and your power to bring about change. We know that nothing is impossible for you. We ask that you would do whatever it takes to cause a change in Jason's heart and bring him back to a life that is pleasing to you. We pray for your grace, mercy, and love to surround him, leading him towards a life of freedom and restoration.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
