We understand that you are going through a challenging time at work, Meeddoric, and we want you to know that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our jobs. We are reminded in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Firstly, we notice that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). We want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" and Acts 4:12 WEb "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We will pray in agreement against any spirits that may be causing this; including any spirits of fear.
In response to your request, we encourage you to put your trust in God and His plan for your life. Even in difficult circumstances, He is working for your good as it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We also encourage you to strive for excellence in your work, not just to meet the expectations of your employers, but to honor God in all that you do. Proverbs 22:29 WEB, reminds us "Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings. He won't stand before obscure men." The job itself is not "I am looking for a better job" or "I want an easier job". It is honoring God.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Meeddoric. Lord, You know the challenges they are facing at work. We pray that You will guide them and give them the wisdom and strength to perform their duties excellently. Help them to see this performance improvement plan as an opportunity for growth and not as a setback.
We rebuke any spirits of fear or anxiety that may be causing this situation and cast them out in Jesus name.
Lord, we pray for Your favor upon Meeddoric. Open the eyes of their employers to see their true worth and the value they bring to the organization. We pray that Meeddoric will find grace and be able to keep their job. Most importantly, Lord, help Meeddoric to honor You in all that they do.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Meeddoric, not be disheartened so much with self-desire and do not allow your happiness and your Christian walk to be dictated by a job or a corporation. See this as an opportunity to learn, reevaluate, and make changes as God leads you.
