Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and trust, lifting up John Perkins and his wife Elizabeth in prayer. Lord, You know the desires of their hearts and the importance of this call from the embassy regarding visas and passports. We stand in agreement with John, believing that Your will shall be done and that Elizabeth will receive her documents smoothly and without delay.
Your Word says in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that John and Elizabeth experience this peace that surpasses all understanding as they await the outcome.
Lord, we trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) reminds us to, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donβt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We acknowledge You in this situation, Lord, and we trust that You are making their path straight.
We ask for Your favor upon this process, that the embassy officials will be guided by Your wisdom and that everything will be resolved in a manner that brings glory to Your name. May John and Elizabeth feel Your presence and comfort during this time of waiting.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
