Firrel, we stand with you in prayer during this challenging time. We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we praise God for the work He has already done in your life, and we pray that you continue to be grateful and thankful for His blessings. It is important to remember that our strength comes from the Lord, as it is written in Psalm 28:7 (WEB), "Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him."
We pray that your faith remains unshakable during this custody battle. Let us claim the promise in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
We also lift up your children and ask the Lord to protect them and you from any harm. In the name of Jesus, we rebuke any evil that may try to come against your family. As it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (WEB), "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one."
Regarding your financial situation, we trust that the Lord will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. Philippians 4:19 (WEB) says, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that He will sustain you and your children until the custody trial.
Finally, we encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Hebrews 12:2 (WEB) tells us, "looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." It is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved.
We pray all these things in Jesus' name, believing that God hears and answers our prayers according to His good and perfect will. Amen.
